Let&#8217;s go have a look.<\/p>\n<p>There are two types of EV charging heads.<br \/>\n&#8211; Type 1 AC Charging (Slow to medium speed charging)<br \/>\n&#8211; Type 2 DC Fast Charging<br \/>\nEach type consists of the following charging heads.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udccc AC Charging<br \/>\n1) Type 1: Found in Japanese EV cars. It&#8217;s a 5-Pin connector, used with a 1-phase electrical system, supporting a maximum current of 32A or 32kWh.<br \/>\n2) Type 2: Found in European EV cars. It has a 7-Pin connector. It normally supplies 3.7kWh of power, but some manufacturers have developed it to be used with a 3-phase electrical system, allowing a maximum power supply of 11. -22 kWh<br \/>\n.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udccc DC Fast Charging<\/p>\n<p>1) CHAdeMo: Found in Japanese and American EV cars. It looks like a large round socket. Cannot be charged with AC Type 1 and AC Type 2.<br \/>\n2) CCS Combo : It is a charger that is very popular and is a special standard that can support both alternating current and direct current charging. It has an AC plug at the top and a DC plug at the bottom.
